Summary of Project:
Cederclan Dienssentrum was established on 3 September 2004 under the umbrella of BADISA Clanwilliam. The centre provides an essential service to at least 100 elderly and disabled people in Clanwilliam and surrounding farms. The services include meals, transport, home-base care, social and educational programmes for the members of the centre.
They realize the importance of sustainability and plan to locally produce handmade and hand painted articles to generate an income and also to improve the people's self worthiness. They have an available local market. It is important for the elderly and disabled people to be contribute to the financial growth of their communities as long as possible.
