Capacity Building Workshops

WCCF conducted a series of Public Participation Workshops in the West Coast Area. The course aims to develop individuals' awareness and understanding of their rights and responsibilities as citizens of this country.   The course covers how government works, understanding decision-making processes specifically at Local Government level and how people can participate in these decision-making processes, as well as advocating and lobbying.    These practical skills will help people become responsible and productive individuals and citizens who will effectively use public participation tools to participate in decision-making processes and contribute towards bringing about positive change in society.
